At Armal we have sustainability in mind throughout the entire production process: from meticulously selected raw materials, most of whom are easily recyclable, to a total quality control system overseeing compliance at all stages of production.
FROM PRODUCT DESIGN TO MAINTENANCE WITH SUSTAINABILITY IN MIND
Armal products are intrinsically designed and manufactured to be environmentally sustainable also when it comes to the supplies needed for them to function, and their cleaning and servicing operations.
These are the key facts proving the sustainability of Armal’s products:
they are made with homogeneous and recyclable materials (mainly HDPE) and very few metallic pieces;
they operate with 30 to 90 times less water compared to domestic toilets, thanks to innovative technical solutions reducing water consumption;
they can operate with very low energy consumption, using natural light, solar panels and other low-impact solutions;
finally they can be completely dismantled at the end of their life cycle.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION AND ISO 14001:2015
Armal has always been working with a sustainable approach, investing significantly in research and development activities aligned with an innovative and eco-friendly corporate mindset.
In 2015 Armal adopted the environmental certification system ISO 14001:2015, an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system and provides a framework to control environmental impacts.
